Go North is a project run by UNIZO-Internationaal with the support of Kris Peeters, Minister President of Flanders a.o. competent for foreign policy.

The project aims to stimulate entrepreneurship in South-Africa, Mozambique and Malawi; the three countries on which the Flemish policy makers are focusing their efforts with regards to international cooperation.

For entrepreneurs in the three partner countries, it is not easy to find business partners for their products in the European Union, let alone in Flanders. It is important that they find support through knowledge from several fields in their search for experts and entrepreneurs from Flanders.

Company of the month

Cape Dreams, Robertson, Western Cape, South Africa

Bunty Khan, CEO of Cape Dreams:

"The name Cape Dreams reflects my personal aspirations to market this brand.  Having spent a lot of time in the Cape Winelands, I could not help but notice the amount of untapped talent espacially among the youth within the rural communities.  There are many teenagers with natural talent in various sports and academics but with little resources to develop this natural skill.  The name Cape Dreams also represents the aspiration of the people to produce leaders and the stars of the future.  It is this reason why I have decided to contribute part of the profits towards the realisation of their dreams..."

The succes of Cape Dreams is based on the high quality of the wines, the ability to supply large volumes, fast turnaround and the ability to develop tastes for specific markets at competitive prices.
